This archival release project produced by Jeffery Plansker and A. Spencer Barefield opens a door to concerts not yet heard. Recorded in Detroit 1979-92 at The Detroit Institute of Arts, the series included the likes of Anthony Braxton, Roscoe Mitchell, Sun Ra, Richard Davis, Lester Bowie and a host of other AACM luminaries.
